Red Trails - 3D Game


This is a group project we made during our Master's degree at Kingston University as part of a module.

The Red Trails project was inspired by the theme of "Life on Land," a key UN Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) that highlights the importance of protecting terrestrial ecosystems. Our group interpreted this theme through a narrative-driven game that tells the story of a young red panda separated from its mother. The game, designed for PC and developed using Unity, emphasizes environmental storytelling and platforming gameplay mechanics to evoke empathy for wildlife affected by habitat destruction. Innovative aspects of the project include the use of dynamic environmental interaction, and a modular programming architecture to ensure scalability and maintainability.
